Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Oakfield Guides, a digital publishing operation of Anderson de Bairros Figueira (“we”, “us”), collects from visitors and customers, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@oakfieldguides.com.
1. Who is responsible
Anderson de Bairros Figueira, CNPJ 33.769.492/0001-33, Rua São Nicolau, 58 · Estância Velha · Canoas/RS · 92.032-440 · Brazil, is the controller of the data described here. Payments and order data are processed by Digistore24 GmbH (St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany), which acts as the authorized reseller of the product and as an independent controller for the transaction data it holds.
2. What we collect
- Data you give us: name and email address when you buy one of our guides or contact support.
- Order data: transaction details received from Digistore24 (order number, product, status). We never receive or store your full card number.
- Usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through cookies and analytics.
3. Why we use it
- To deliver the guide you purchased and provide support.
- To send emails related to your order (delivery, receipts, refund handling) — these are essential and cannot be opted out of while your order is active.
- To send occasional educational emails, if you opted in — see section 5.
- To measure how our pages and ads perform, in aggregate.
- To comply with tax, accounting and consumer-protection obligations.
4. Cookies and measurement
We use strictly necessary cookies plus analytics and advertising cookies (including Google services) to understand traffic and measure campaigns. You can accept or dismiss the cookie notice on our pages, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the guide pages remain readable either way.
5. How to unsubscribe from our emails
You can stop marketing emails at any time, in two ways:
- Unsubscribe link. Every marketing email we send carries an unsubscribe link in its footer. One click removes you — no login and no explanation required.
- By email. Write to support@oakfieldguides.com with the subject UNSUBSCRIBE, from the address you want removed.
How long it takes: removal is processed within 24 to 72 hours. Messages already queued may arrive during that window.
What continues: essential messages about an active order — delivery of your download, receipts, refund confirmations — are transactional and continue to be sent, because they are part of the service you paid for.
6. Who we share data with
We share only what is necessary with: Digistore24 (payment and order processing), our email delivery provider, our website host, and analytics and advertising providers. We do not sell your personal data.
7. How long we keep it
Customer and order records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we retain only the minimum needed to honour your removal request.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and comparable laws), you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy in portable form, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent. Write to support@oakfieldguides.com; we respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Our content and product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
